Lore & Background

Nehekhara was once a land of great civilization, ruled by wise Pharaohs who sought eternal life through the god Nehekhra. However, their obsession with death led them to turn away from the natural cycle, resulting in a curse that left them as mindless undead servants of dark magic. The great necromancer Settra was betrayed by his own kin, leading to the fragmentation of the kingdom and the rise of rival dynasties, each vying for control over the sacred tombs.

In Their Own Story

The wind howls across the golden dunes, carrying whispers of forgotten kings. A skeletal hand emerges from the sand, gripping a rusted scimitar as the eyes of a Pharaoh ignite with cold blue fire. The great Sphinx watches silently, its stone gaze fixed on the horizon where the living march to desecrate the sacred grounds. Tonight, the dead shall rise once more.

Reader's Guide

The campaign begins with your chosen Tomb King faction awakening in their ancestral tomb. Your primary objective is to expand your domain by conquering neighboring territories while managing your limited population of undead troops. You must complete specific objectives such as reclaiming lost tombs, defeating rival factions like the Lizardmen or Chaos Dwarfs, and unlocking powerful artifacts. Each faction has unique victory conditions tied to their history and goals. As you progress, you will encounter events that reflect the curse of Nehekhara, forcing difficult choices between power and morality. The campaign ends when you achieve your faction's ultimate goal, whether through domination or restoration.
